Traditional Thai Massage
Let me Support You in Helping Your Body to Help Itself…
Do you stand leaning on a dominant leg? Do you always carry heavy bags to one side? The effect of this imbalance travels along the spine and upsets the natural left / right balance of your body. Correcting these imbalances is extremely important for your body to function at its best.
Traditional Thai Massage is an ancient energy-based healing system that incorporates both acupressure techniques and assisted yoga postures. It helps to attain or regain “Balance” in the flow of energy through the body. Movements of gentle rocking, deep stretching and compressions assist in the restructuring of your muscular-skeletal framework...
Typical Clients feedback: “Its amazing how after a treatment I feel so relaxed and yet totally energised” “Wow…. After a treatment I felt so alive – like my body has just woken up.”
This form of treatment has the ability to incorporate rather than limit. Its wholesome rounded flowing style is very much like a form of meditation, with the receiver being aware of taking part but becoming in an almost trance-like state of relaxation.
The overall effect is one of deep relaxation, rejuvenation, and physical and mental well being.
Thai Bodywork helps to regain the natural balance and flow of energy throughout your body. It works on both superficial and the deeper layers of muscles, ligaments, joints and connective tissue.
This ancient and unique form of Body Therapy incorporates both Yoga and Acupressure techniques. With its flowing sequence of compressions, gentle rocking, deep stretching and lengthening of muscles. It opens tight end tense joints such as knees, ankles, wrists, hips, shoulders and neck. No oils or lotions are used, and the recipient remains fully clothed during treatments - which are performed on a comfortable floor mattress.
Thai Bodywork is a “one-stop shop”, and using it in conjunction with other healthy lifestyle components (such as diet), can considerably simplify a great body-maintenance package.
Benefits include :-
- Reduced tension, with a general sense of well-being and vitality.
- Deep relaxation, rejuvenation, and physical and mental well being.
- Improved circulatory, nervous, digestive and respiratory systems.
- Increased flexibility, suppleness, and toning of your body.
